Jubilee Trumpet MP3 Album is a collection of major compositions and suites for trumpet ensemble by Eddie Lewis. This album is currently only available here as a download. It is not published to streaming services or on YouTube as a discrete album.

Most of these are what I would consider to be “major works”. What makes them major works is either their lengths in performance time, or the number of musicians. For example, Passion is almost 15 minutes long, and Trumpets of Jubilee is written for twelve trumpets. In the world of trumpet compositions, these are very ambitious numbers.
Serious Trumpet Music
Major works tend to be serious in nature. These are not novelties. That’s why most of the themes of these compositions are somehow related to my faith as a Christian.
I can say that the most serious of them all is probably Passion. Passion is three movements depicting Holy Week, 1) The Last Supper, 2) Crucifixion, 3) Burial and 4) Resurrection. I wrote this composition during the first year of Covid. All of my frustrations as a musician without work were invested into this project.
