Brass trio is not a standardized instrumentation. Any three brass instruments make a brass trio. It’s not like the traditional brass quintet setting where we typically expect two trumpets, horn, trombone and tube.

My favorite brass trio instrumentation is trumpet, horn and tuba, but I have written for other combinations.
