What a Friend We Have in Jesus is number seventeen in our Trumpet Hymn Duet series. These are trumpet duet arrangements of hymns meant to stay true to the mood and harmonies of the original. In this way, the hymns are supposed to be 100% appropriate for traditional church services.
This hymn arrangement specifically was an extra special treat for me to write because it has long been one of my favorites. What a friend we have in Jesus is part of my “hymn story” and played a role in my publishing these hymns.
