Thanks a Lot! is an original melody based on the changes for Have You Met Miss Jones. We usually do it in a bossa nova style, but it can be done as a swing tune.

This is one of the tunes I wrote for my band, Living Rhythms, to perform at the Texas Jazz Festival, in Corpus Christi, many years ago. On that gig we had David Caceres on alto, Derek Lewis on bass, and Malcolm Pinson on drums. People were talking about that performance for years afterwards. It really was something special.
